The breakfast spread was basic but had killer biscuits and gravy that warmed the soul. Also, the room, Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, Ground Floor, was comfy and tidy, and the lady managing the place was super cheerful, making our stay feel a bit more like home.

However, the dining options leave a lot to be desired. The office closing early at 7 PM made it tricky to get help, and we had to rush back from Silver Dollar City, unsure if we'd get in. It felt a tad sketchy with only four other cars in the lot at that hour!

I loved the spaciousness of our room, which made it really comfy! But we did have some issues with cleanliness. the bathroom could definitely use a deep clean. 🤨

The room was clean with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. We had a microwave and a refrigerator too, which was handy. The outdoor swimming pool was nice, but it could use some upkeep. It’s got a decent location, close to attractions without heavy traffic. Simple but served its purpose for a budget stay.

One downside was that the pool was closed during our visit, which was disappointing since we were looking forward to using it.

The recent renovations are evident, and while the maintenance staff displayed a positive attitude, the condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The cleanliness was lacking, with a dirty breakfast room and a pool that looked unusable. Despite the good Wi-Fi and effectiveness of the air conditioning, it pales in comparison to the numerous issues present.

The King Room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with a nice microwave and refrigerator for snacks. I really enjoyed relaxing by the seasonal outdoor pool and catching some sun on the loungers. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times, but it didn’t put a damper on my stay! ☀️
